Hello,
Are you planning to start studying Physics, Geophysics, Meteorology, or Physics Education at KIT in the winter semester 2026/2027? Then you've come to the right place! We, the Physics Student Council (Fachschaft Physik), are a group of students who volunteer to represent the interests of our fellow students. In addition to planning parties, offering advising services, and maintaining an extensive exam report archive, we also organize the orientation week (O-Phase) every year specifically for first-year students to make the often overwhelming start to university life as easy as possible.
It all kicks off on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 9:00 AM in front of the Physics Flachbau (low-rise building). The orientation week runs until Friday, October 23, 2026. For us as the organizing team, it is very important to know how many people would like to participate in the O-Phase. Therefore, we need you to register! Don't worry, it's quick and easy to do, with the deadline being October 16, 2026, at 10:00 PM.
